- Multiple Accounts
Having more than one account is prohibited. If we come to believe you are using more than one account, we will remove your account. Sharing a computer is not allowed under any circumstances. Because we can not determine who has multiple accounts on one computer or who is sharing a computer with someone else, we must assume that you are cheating and both accounts will be banned. The use of the same IP address is NOT ACCEPTABLE and will be treated the same as using a shared computer. In order to assist in the enforcement of this rule, all players registering under fake name will be immediately banned. Players registering with a free e-mail account (e.g, hotmail, gmail, and yahoo) will be requested to providea paid e-mail address or be banned.
- Outside Programs and Glitches
Using an outside program, glitch, or any browser tricks (including plug-ins and auto refresh/load) in the game to alter the affects of the game is considering cheating. If you are found abusing either one, your account will be removed. Please report any bugs or glitches you find in the game. If we find you are a abusing them, we will have your account removed.
- Acceptable Public Content
All content displayed in the public areas on the game (i.e., shoutbox, public message board, recruiting board, player name, player profile, family names and family profiles) must meet the standard of being "work-safe" content. Our definition of "work-safe" is Internet content generally considedered appropriate for viewing in the typical workplace (i.e., would be acceptable in the presence of your boss and colleagues). This rule covers the use of profanity, racial comments, nudity, and other strong sexual content. Violation of this rule with result in a 7 day suspension of your account and removal of the inappropriate content for the first violation, and removal of the players account for a second violation.
- Spamming and Other Outside Marketing
The marketing of all other websites is prohibited. All outside marketing activity will result in the immediate removal of your account.
- Posting
Do not post any attacks on the public boards or in Public chat rooms. Only share attacks with members of your family. Please do not spam, this includes sending mass messages to a player in order to flood their inbox or transfers. Do not give out the names or contact information of other players on the boards, this includes any personal information. Violation of this rule with result in a 7 day suspension of your account for the first violation, and removal of the players account for a second violation.
- Farming
You may not freely allow your own players net worth or defensive units to be reduced to the direct gain of another player. An example of this would be "attack", where an in game attacker and defender have consented in advance to let the attacker steal resource objects or kill the defender with reduced or no risk to the attacker. Violation of this rule will result in removal of your account.
- Collusion
All discussion of final ranks and any arrangements made regarding final rankings are limited to the following levels. Individual ranks may only be discussed amongst members of a single family. This is a defined as a single family under the rule of a boss. Family ranks may be arranged as a group of families under a single don. Any violation of this rule will result in the suspension of all prizes for all members of any families involved for that round. This rule will be strictly enforced.
- Threatening Messages
This is a mafia based game and insults and threats are a part of that. However, sending messages that personally threaten another player, in any context outside of the game, will result in removal of your account.
- Families
The size of families is restricted each round to the number displayed on the round information page. You are free to have alliances or families extensions but we are not responsible for that and do not provide any tools to handle them. Each family needs to have a unique icon.
- Bad links and Hacking
Do not send links that can affect an account or computer to players within the game. Do not threaten that you are a hacker or will hack the game. Doing so will cause your account to be removed. *Please be advised, www.MAFIA-DON.com will not be held responsible or make any corrections for any URL's or outside programs sent to you within the game (or outside the game) that may have affects on your account. If you receive a link to a website in game we strongly urge against you pasting it into your browser.
- Abusive Behavior Towards the Game
Abusive behavior toward the staff or the website is prohibited. Any abusive behavior will result in the removal of the players account.
